Install VoxTitan on your PC

The desktop app is VoxTitan in its own window: it sits in your taskbar and never gets lost among browser tabs. Your account, servers and messages are the same as on the web.

Right now it is being prepared for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) only. There is no separate app for macOS, Linux, Android or iPhone; use the web version there.

The web version runs everywhere

A current browser on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iPhone is all you need. Nothing to download, same account.

Install it from your browser

In Chrome and Edge, click the install icon at the right of the address bar; on Android choose "Add to Home screen" from the browser menu, on iPhone use Share → "Add to Home Screen" in Safari. VoxTitan then opens in its own window without an address bar.

The "Install app (PWA)" button inside the app shows the same steps.

Installation

Once the installer is published, these are the steps:

    Download

    Use the button above to get VoxTitan-Kurulum-x64.zip and extract it; it holds VoxTitan-Kurulum-x64.exe.

    Run it

    Double-click VoxTitan-Kurulum-x64.exe from the extracted zip. If Windows SmartScreen appears, read the note below, then continue with "More info" → "Run anyway".

    Finish setup

    The installer adds VoxTitan to the Start menu and opens the app.

    Sign in

    Use your web account; your servers and messages are already there.

Why does SmartScreen warn me?

The installer is not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so Windows does not recognise the publisher and may show "Windows protected your PC". That does not mean the file is harmful; only continue if you downloaded it from this page (voxtitan.com). Never run a "VoxTitan setup" from any other site.

Frequently asked questions

How do updates work?

The app does not update itself yet. When a new version is released, the version number and date on this page change; download the new installer and install it over the old one. Nothing is lost, because your account and servers live in your VoxTitan account.

How do I uninstall it?

Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find VoxTitan and choose Uninstall. Your account is not deleted; you can keep using the web version.

What is stored on my computer?

The app keeps your session and browser-like local data (settings, cache) in the app data folder of your Windows user profile. Your messages and servers stay in your VoxTitan account. The privacy policy is the same as for the web version.

How is it different from the web version?

It is the same app in its own window. The features are identical; there are no desktop-only features (in-game overlay, global hotkeys) yet. The difference: it does not get lost among tabs and opens from the Start menu and taskbar.

Is the file a virus? My antivirus warns me.

Some antivirus tools flag any new, unsigned program as a "rarely seen file". Only download it from this page; never run a "VoxTitan setup" that came from anywhere else. If in doubt, contact us through the about page.
